Now that TV shows are starting to return after the holiday hiatus, there will also some NEW shows premiering this Winter/Spring 2019 that geeks might be interested in! Read on to find out what those shows are, when they premiere, and to watch trailers for them.

1. Project Blue Book – Tuesday, January 8 at 10/9c on History
Starring Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger from ‘Game of Thrones’), HISTORY’s upcoming new drama series ‘Project Blue Book’ is based on the true, top-secret investigations into UFOs and related phenomena conducted by the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1969.
2. The Passage – Monday, January 14 at 9/8c on Fox
Based on author Justin Cronin’s best-selling trilogy of the same name, ‘THE PASSAGE’ focuses on Project Noah, a secret medical facility where scientists are experimenting with a dangerous virus that could lead to the cure for all disease, but also carries the potential to wipe out the human race. When a young girl, AMY BELLAFONTE, is chosen to be a test subject, Federal Agent BRAD WOLGAST (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is the man who is tasked with bringing her to Project Noah. Ultimately, however, Wolgast becomes her surrogate father, as he tries to protect her at any cost. Brad and Amy’s journey will force them to confront Project Noah’s lead scientist, MAJOR NICHOLE SYKES, and the hardened ex-CIA operative in charge of operations, CLARK RICHARDS, whom Brad trained. It likewise brings them face-to-face with a dangerous new race of beings confined within the walls of Project Noah, including former scientist TIM FANNING and death-row inmate SHAUNA BABCOCK. In seeking out any allies he can find, Brad also turns to his former wife, DR. LILA KYLE, for help. But as Project Noah’s scientists hone in on a cure that could save humanity, these new beings begin to test their own powers, inching one step closer to an escape that could lead to an unimaginable apocalypse.
3. Roswell, New Mexico – Tuesday, January 15 at 9/8c on CW
After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance.
4. Deadly Class – Wednesday, January 16 at 10/9c on Syfy
Produced by the Russo brothers and based on the best-selling graphic novel, ‘Deadly Class’ is a coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of late 1980s counterculture, which follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins.

5. A Discovery of Witches – Thursday, January 17 on Sundance Now/Shudder
Note: The series has already aired in international markets, but this is its U.S. debut.
‘A Discovery of Witches’ is based on the novel trilogy of the same name by Deborah Harkness. The show tells the story of Diana Bishop, an Oxford professor and reluctant witch who stumbles upon an enchanted manuscript and is thrust into a magical world unlike any she’s known. Together with a handsome, century-old vampire named Matthew Clairmont, Diana sets out to discover the manuscript’s secrets.
6. I Am the Night – Monday, January 28 at 9/8c on TNT
From executive producer Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), I Am the Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery. Chris Pine plays Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack-reporter/paparazzo.
7. Russian Doll – Friday, February 1 on Netflix
A woman gets caught in a mysterious loop, repeatedly attending the same party and dying at the end of the night, only to awake the next day unharmed.
8. Miracle Workers – Tuesday, February 12 at 10:30/9:30c on TBS
The first season of anthology series ‘Miracle Workers’ will be a Heaven-set workplace comedy based on Simon Rich’s book ‘What in God’s Name,’ starring Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Karan Soni. Radcliffe will play Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity’s prayers, and Steve Buscemi will play Craig’s boss, God, who has pretty much checked out and is ready to move on to his next project. To prevent Earth’s destruction, Craig and fellow angel Eliza (Geraldine Viswanathan) must answer a seemingly unanswerable prayer: help two humans fall in love.
9. The Umbrella Academy – Friday, February 15 on Netflix
A dysfunctional family of superheroes comes together to solve the mystery of their father’s death, the threat of the apocalypse and more. Adapted from the comic created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá.
10. Now Apocalypse – Sunday, March 10 at 9/8c on Starz
Ulysses and his friends Carly, Ford and Severine are on various quests pursing love, sex and fame in Los Angeles. Between sexual and romantic dating app adventures, Ulysses grows increasingly troubled as foreboding premonitory dreams make him wonder if some kind of dark and monstrous conspiracy is going on, or is he just smoking too much weed?
