About Us

We are Joshua and Violet Krueger, the husband and wife team that makes up Gender Biased Reviews, which we established in March 2013. On this blog, we write recaps and reviews of geeky TV shows and movies from each of our perspectives, thereby providing both male and female perspectives. Additionally, we attend and report on various pop culture and comic conventions, including San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon, Los Angeles Comic Con (formerly known as Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo), New York Comic Con, Gallifrey One, and more.

We’ve been together since 2005, married since 2011, and currently reside in Fullerton (north Orange County), California. We like to watch movies and TV shows, especially of the sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural genres. We also like to play board games such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, and Pandemic.
