Violet recaps Season 2 Episode 12 of Arrow, titled Tremors, which features the return of Bronze Tiger! Also, Arrow begins training Roy. Following the recap, Violet shares her thoughts on the episode.
Episode Recap of Arrow, Season 2 Episode 12: Tremors
- A guy gets himself arrested and sneaks Bronze Tiger’s claws in to him in prison. Arrow begins training Roy – with the slapping water exercise. In a flashback, Sara and Oliver continue to search for Slade.
- Moira tells Thea she’s going to dinner with Walter. Thea is staying home because she and Roy are having problems. Lance visits Laurel because he misses her. Felicity hacks into the prison database and discovers Bronze Tiger has escaped.
- Bronze Tiger learns that someone helped break him out of prison so that he could steal a certain item that could kill thousands. Arrow tries to help Roy learn how to control his strength, but Roy becomes angry and frustrated.
- Mark Francis joins Moira and Walter for dinner, and Moira learns that they want her to run for mayor. Lance pretends to take Laurel out to dinner, but instead brings her to a substance abuse meeting, which upsets her, and she walks away.
- Bronze Tiger kills an architect to get the blueprints for Malcolm Merlyn’s house. Arrow brings Roy with him to Merlyn’s house, where they find Bronze Tiger and a few men stealing the prototype of the earthquake machine. Arrow fights Bronze Tiger, but he escapes with the device. Arrow has to stop Roy from nearly beating one of the other men to death.
- Arrow recovers a watch from one of the men Bronze Tiger was working with, and gives it to Felicity to search for fingerprints. Oliver tells Felicity and Diggle about what happened with Slade. In a flashback, Oliver and Sara go to the cave, where they find firing calculations written on the wall. They realize Slade is going to blow up the freighter.
- Roy warns Thea to get out of town for a few days and take her family with her. When Laurel goes to Joanna’s firm for an interview, Joanna informs her that they cannot hire her because the Bar is going to bring disciplinary proceedings against her.
- Despite Moira’s doubts, Thea supports Walter’s idea for Moira to run for mayor. Roy and Arrow argue, and Roy pushes him across the room. Laurel has too much to drink at the club, so Oliver takes her keys and tells Thea to get her a cab.
- Felicity reports to Oliver that the fingerprints belong to a man who works for Milo Armitage, a black market arms merchant who is trying to sell the device. Felicity has tracked Armitage to a shipping container at the Starling City docks. In a flashback, Oliver and Sara find Slade getting ready to fire missiles at the freighter and try to stop him.
- Thea reassures Moira that people will support her running for mayor. Arrow finds Armitage and Bronze Tiger at the docks. Bronze Tiger stabs him in the back with his claws, but Roy shows up and begins beating up Bronze Tiger.
- Armitage sets off the timer for earthquake machine, but Arrow is unable to get into the shipping container it is in. Arrow reveals his identity to Roy to get his attention and ask for his help, and Roy is able to punch a hole in the shipping container. Arrow shoots a trick arrow inside and blows up the device.
- Oliver reports to the Arrow team that Roy knows his identity. In a flashback, Oliver is able to talk Slade out of firing the missiles, and declares that they are going to take the freighter. Moira tells Walter that she has decided to run for mayor, but that her OB-GYN knows that Malcolm is Thea’s father, and asks Walter to make sure he won’t be a problem.
- Amander Waller from A.R.G.U.S. visits Bronze Tiger in prison and asks him to join a squad she is putting together. Oliver tells Roy he can’t tell Thea about him, then introduces him to Felicity and Diggle at the Arrow Cave. Sara shows up at Laurel’s apartment.
