For those of you unfamiliar with Loot Crate, it’s a monthly subscription service which sends you a “grab bag” filled with nerdy and geeky items.  Each month has a different theme. For example, the theme for December was “Console Wars.” Although they will announce each month’s theme ahead of time, you never know exactly what you’re getting until you open the box! There are three different Loot Crate payment plans: one month subscription, three month subscription, and six month subscription. The longer your subscription plan, the better the deal. If you’re on the one month subscription plan, it’s $13.37 + $6 shipping + tax, which came out to a total of $21.11 for us. However, if you sign up for the three month plan, it comes out to $12.37 per month (+ shipping and tax), and if you’re on the six month plan, it’s only $11.67 per month (+ shipping and tax).
