New York Comic Con has announced some important dates you should know if you plan on going to this year’s convention, which takes place October 4-7, 2018 at the Javits Center.
Wednesday, May 9: Fan Verification Confirmation Email
If you created a Fan Verification profile for New York Comic Con in 2016 or 2017, you should have received an email on May 9 with subject “NYCC 2018: Confirm Your Fan Verification Profile.” You’ll need to click on “Confirm Your Info Here” and then your profile will pop up, where you’ll have a chance to either confirm the information that’s there, or update the info if needed. Once you have done that, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you don’t confirm your account details, your Fan Verification profile will be deleted and you won’t be able to participate in the presale. The deadline is May 30.
Sunday, June 10: NYCC Badge Presale
Only those who confirmed the account details in their Fan Verification profile will be able to participate in the NYCC badge presale.
Wednesday, June 13: Fan Verification Opens
If you did not create a Fan Verification profile in 2016 or 2017, or if you did not confirm your account details, this is when you’ll be able to create a Fan Verification profile for 2018. This is required to buy NYCC 2018 badges.
Sunday, July 8: Fan Verification Closes
This is the last day to create a Fan Verification profile, which you must have in order to buy a NYCC badge!
Sunday, July 15: NYCC Badges Onsale
Only those who created a Fan Verification profile prior to the July 8 deadline (unless you failed to confirm your 2016 or 2017 account details) will be able to participate in the general NYCC 2018 badge sale.
