On Saturday, June 7, Bruce Campbell made an appearance on a panel at Phoenix Comicon. Although he was on the TV show Burn Notice for 7 years, he is best known at comic conventions as Ash from the Evil Dead trilogy. Here are our pictures from the Bruce Campbell panel.
Bruce Campbell’s one hour panel was scheduled to start at 1:30pm, but he waltzed out on stage 5 minutes early, with no introduction, and started off his panel by calling all the Ash cosplayers up on stage. He then proceeded to hold a costume contest, criticizing the details of each cosplayers outfit. The winners were determined by audience applause, and he awarded 1st place with $5 and 2nd place with $1. He later chose 3 audience members to bring up on stage as panelists and gave them a hard time. In fact, any audience member who asked a question of him had to put up with him making fun of them. But, such is Bruce Campbell’s style, and it was all in fun. Below are our pictures from the panel.
