Stan “The Man” Lee had a panel at Phoenix Comicon on Sunday, June 8! Comic book artist and writer Todd McFarlane joined him for his panel, and Michael Rooker (aka Merle from The Walking Dead) also decided to crash the panel for a few! Check out our photo gallery of pictures from this panel.
We ended our Phoenix Comicon with a bang – the Stan Lee panel, which took place in the Ballroom 1:30pm-2:30pm. Stan Lee was apparently finishing up his lunch, and sent Todd McFarlane out to warm the crowd up. But a few minutes later, Stan the Man took the stage, letting us know that he was “rescuing” us from Todd McFarlane! Stan went on to give Todd a hard time throughout the panel, but Todd took it all in stride. Stan took questions from the audience, and Todd helped serve as a translator to Stan, since Stan, who is 91 years old, has a little trouble hearing. At one point during the panel, Stan gave Todd a custom made Spider-Man guitar, autographed by him. Todd played with it for maybe a minute, then put it down, and Stan was disappointed that Todd didn’t spend very much time making a fuss over it. Soon after, Michael Rooker crashed the panel and talked about Guardians of the Galaxy for a few minutes before he had to go. You can view our pictures from the panel below.

I sure do love to see Stan Lee still plugging along. Definitely younger than his years.
Stan looks as amazing as ever.
