Things to Know About Phoenix Comicon:
- Phoenix Comicon takes place in the North Hall and West Hall of the Phoenix Convention Center, which is located in downtown Phoenix
- As mentioned above, there are two Exhibit Hall/Artist Alley areas, both in the North Hall. One is on the Lower Level and the other is on the 3rd Floor. Click here for the list of Exhibitors/Artists and for a map of each area
- Yes, it will be hot outside, but it may be cool inside the panel rooms and exhibit areas, so plan accordingly
- You can book hotel rooms downtown and near downtown at a discounted rate through the con. Click here for more info
- If you’ll need parking for the con, be sure to buy pre-paid parking through Phoenix Comicon’s website. Otherwise, you may ending up paying as much as $60 for parking, which we saw one lot charging last year! We like to park at the parking garage at 3rd and Jefferson (available through ParkWhiz), since it is only a block away, and usually the cheapest option — $10/day if you use discount code PHXCC17.
- The Phoenix Convention Center is accessible via light rail, which runs about every 12-15 minutes. Click here to plan your trip
- Some restaurants offer discounts if you show your Phoenix Comicon badge. Click here for the list of restaurants and their discounts
- Speaking of food, check out our friend Legion of Sand’s Phoenix Comicon 2017 Food Map!
- Will you be cosplaying? If so, click here for the costume weapons policy
- Each of the celebrity guest panels in West 301A and West 301BCD has reserved seating available for an additional fee. The larger room, West 301BCD, has front row seating for $45 and “Front of House” seating for $30, while West 301A only has “Front of House” seating for $30. The rest of the seats are first come, first served general admission (except for Dick Van Dyke, as noted above)
- Phoenix Comicon has an app available in iTunes and Google Play! Download it for the programming schedule and other useful info
