Are you going to San Diego Comic-Con 2019 and wondering what the seating capacity is for each room? Well, look no further, as we have broken it down for you room by room below to help you plan your SDCC experience!
We went straight to the sources, the San Diego Convention Center, Hilton Bayfront, San Diego Musical Theatre (Horton Grand Theatre), Marriott Marquis & Marina, and San Diego Central Library websites for the following info for seating capacity, which we based on the “Theater” or “Lecture” capacity for each. The only exception is the Hall H capacity, which is based on this article on Comic-Con’s Toucan Blog.
We listed the 6 main rooms first (Hall H, Ballroom 20, Indigo Ballroom, Room 6BCF, Room 6A, and Room 6DE), then proceeded to list the other rooms in numerical order, followed by alphabetical order.

Keep these numbers in mind when deciding how early you should get in line for a panel that you really want to go to. Also, remember that San Diego Comic-Con does not clear rooms between panels (except for the Horton Grand Theatre), so it is possible you might need to sit through a panel that you don’t really care about in order to make sure you get into your desired panel.
* Panels at the Horton Grand Theatre require a separate ticket for entry, in addition to your Comic-Con badge. The process for obtaining a ticket has now been confirmed, and works the same way it has worked in the past: Drawings for free tickets to each panel at the Horton Grand Theatre are held at 9:00am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday morning in the Autograph Area of the Sails Pavilion for that day’s panels. Each winner will receive two tickets. Note that there is limited disabled seating. Any leftover and standby tickets will be available at the Horton Grand box office, of which you will be able to check availability on the ticket sign in Sails. If you win a ticket in the initial drawing, you must be inside the Horton Grand Theatre no later than 15 minutes prior to the panel start time, or you will forfeit your seat to standby ticket holders.
