Without prior warning from Comic-Con International, badges for WonderCon 2017 went on sale yesterday evening! Note that badges will be available for purchase online only, and will not be available for purchase on site! Click here for badge purchase FAQ for WonderCon 2017. Also be aware that children age 12 and under are free with a paying adult, though you’ll need to register them on site.
You will need to log in to your Comic-Con Member ID account to purchase your badge online. If you do not already have one, click here to register for a Member ID. Once you have your Member ID, and are logged into your account, click on the “Registration Info” tab to purchase your badge.
If you purchase your badge before February 27, 2017, it will be mailed to you. If you purchase after that date, you will have to pick up your badge on site. Also, if you are an international attendee, you will have to pick up your badge on site regardless of your purchase date. February 27 is also the deadline to request a badge refund.
For WonderCon 2016, Saturday badges sold out about three weeks prior to WonderCon, and 3-Day badges sold out 10 days before the con, so don’t wait too long to purchase your badge! Friday and Sunday badges were still available up until when WonderCon began, then sold out quickly.
Also noteworthy is the fact that the price of badges for WonderCon 2017 is the same as for WonderCon 2016! Usually there is a bit of a price increase from year to year. The price of a 3-day badge for WonderCon 2016 was $10 more than for WonderCon 2015.
Hotel reservations do not appear to have opened yet, nor have the Press and Pro application periods opened, nor Volunteer Registration. We’ll keep you updated on this.
[12/13/16 UPDATE] Online registration for the volunteer program is now open. To sign up, log into your Member ID account, click on the “Volunteering” tab, and follow the instructions. Registration will close once they reach capacity, so register early!
Happy New Year! Thanks for the registration info!
