Yesterday, Comic-Con International released the full programming schedule for WonderCon 2017, which takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center Friday, March 31 through Sunday, April 2. Now that we’ve had some time to go through the schedule, we bring you the highlights!
You can access the full schedule by clicking here, where you can organize by date, category, venue, and popularity, and create your own personalized schedule. Below are some of the highlights from this year’s schedule. Remember, just like San Diego Comic-Con, rooms are not cleared in between panels, so you might want to arrive a little early to be sure you make it into your desired panel.
Friday, March 31

DreamWorks Trollhunters, A Netflix Original Series, Room 300AB
Following the epic first season of the Netflix original series DreamWorks Trollhunters, executive producers Marc Guggenheim, Rodrigo Blaas, and Chad Hammes share their favorite moments from season 1 and take you behind the scenes of this critically acclaimed series from Guillermo del Toro. The panel will be moderated by Josh Macuga of Collider.

Breaking out is only the beginning! Join Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies,Robert Knepper, and executive producers Paul Scheuring, Vaun Wilmott, and Michael Horowitz for a true fan event as they debut the first episode of 2017’s most highly anticipated series. A moderated panel will follow the screening.

Behind the Creative Process of Logan, Room 300DE
Wishing you had more insider info on what it took to make FOX’s epic film Logan? HALON Entertainment’s previs and postvis supervisor, Clint Reagan, and Art Directors Guild Award-nominated production designer Francois Audouy take you behind the scenes with never-before-seen material. Clint and Francois will dive into one of Logan‘s action-packed sequences to discuss defining the look, action, and story details of the film. You won’t want to miss this journey deep into the world of Logan!
Spotlight on James Dashner, Room 207
James Dashner’s The Maze Runner series has become a breakout hit, with the books ranking on bestseller lists and a thriving film franchise. Entertainment Weekly‘s Anthony Breznican presents a one-on-one interview with James, covering his writing career, inspiration, and the book-to-film process, and concluding with a Q&A session.

Time After Time Special Video Presentation and Q&A, Arena
Time After Time makes its WonderCon Anaheim debut to give fans the scoop on the suspenseful new drama and a sneak peek at what lies ahead in the first season. This special video presentation will be followed by a Q&A with executive producer Kevin Williamson and series stars Josh Bowman , Genesis Rodriguez, and Nicole Ari Parker.

Riverdale Special Video Presentation and Q&A, Arena
Join stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Ashleigh Murray, Luke Perry, Mädchen Amick and Marisol Nichols, along with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater as they dive into the secrets that continue to loom over what may look like a quiet, sleepy town.

Spotlight on Jim Lee
DC Entertainment co-publisher Jim Lee (Batman, Justice League, Superman Unchained, Suicide Squad) talks about his 30+ years in the comics industry and sketches your favorite characters live on the big screen in this engaging panel. This is a great opportunity to watch the creative process firsthand and learn the tips of the trade that bring DC Entertainment’s characters to life.

Roddenberry Presents, Room 209
From the name that brought you Star Trek, Roddenberry Entertainment’s Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth discuss the curation and production of genre content in today’s arena. Panel highlights include rarely seen materials from the Roddenberry Vault in celebration of Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s 30th Anniversary, as well as the company’s “The Roddenberry Vault” Blu-ray project. Also, don’t miss special panel guest and voiceover talent Greg Cipes (TMNT, Teen Titans Go!) joining the discussion to reveal the company’s newest animation project, along with cast mates and social media legends Aaron Doh, Brittany Furlan, and Ben Keough. David Rosing (NASA JPL Mars Sample Return system engineer), Shonte J. Tucker (JPL thermal engineer), and Todd J. Barber (JPL senior Cassini propulsion engineer) discuss how we go boldly where there’s no one around to fix it. Panelists will share their stories from the trenches of the heartbreaks, close calls, and adventures of real-life solar system exploration. Q&A session following.
There are Those Who STILL Believe: Remembering the Original Battlestar Galactica and Richard Hatch, Room 207
Mark A. Altman (The Fifty-Year Mission) and Edward Gross (Empire Magazine), authors of the upcoming oral history of Battlestar Galactica, Launch All Vipers from Tor Books, present a tribute to the legendary 1978 series and star Richard Hatch with this unprecedented look back at the creation and making of the original and groundbreaking lonely quest that changed science fiction television forever. Other panelists include Alan J. The Her Universe Fashion Show Update, Room 208
For the last three years, The Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con has wowed audiences with its original “geek couture” designs. Every year winners are chosen and given the unique professional opportunity to design a fashion collection with Her Universe to be sold in Hot Topic stores. This big onstage costume competition features amazing, beautiful, and imaginative re-created and original costumes crafted by talented attendees. Contestants compete for trophies, cash, and merchandise awards as bestowed by a panel of guest judges and representatives from various companies and organizations. The MCs are Phil Foglio and Kaja Foglio. Entertainment during judging intermission is provided by the Saber Guild performance group. Doors open for seating at 8:00 but the line for choice seating starts earlier!
