WonderCon 2020 is just under two months away! The annual “little sister” convention to Comic-Con International’s San Diego Comic-Con will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12. (Yes, that is Easter Weekend.)
WonderCon 2020 Badges On Sale
Badges went on sale back on January 23, 2020, and are still available. Saturday badges typically sell out at least a couple of weeks prior to the convention, so although you have time, don’t wait too long to purchase your badges! Friday and Sunday badges usually don’t sell out until the week of the event.
Badge prices are as follows:
You may purchase badges by logging into your Member ID account and clicking on the Registration tab, followed by clicking on “Purchase Badges.” You may also find step-by-step instructions on CCI’s website. If you don’t already have a Member ID, you can create one for free!
To have your badge mailed to you ahead of time, you’ll need to purchase your badge by February 25 and verify your shipping address in your Member ID account (under the “Contact Info” tab). Otherwise, you’ll have to pick up your badge on site.

WonderCon 2020 Special Guests
Comic-Con International announced 28 special guests who will be appearing at WonderCon. These special guests include Brian Michael Bendis (Writer, Superman, Action Comics, Young Justice), Scottie Young (Writer/artist, Rocket Raccoon, I Hate Fairyland), Donny Cates (Writer, Venom, Guardians of the Galaxy, Babyteeth), Sergio Aragonés (Cartoonist, MAD magazine, Groo the Wanderer), Mark Evanier (Writer and/or editor, The Garfield Show, Kirby, King of Comics; Groo the Wanderer, Pogo: The Complete Syndicated Comic Strips), Jim Lee (Artist, Justice League: Origin, Suicide Squad; DC Comics publisher/chief creative officer), and more! Click here for the full list of special guests for WonderCon 2020.
However, these special guests do not even begin to cover the full extent of guests who will appear at WonderCon 2020. The full programming schedule is usually announced two weeks prior to the convention (though last year CCI surprised us and gave it to us 3 weeks prior!), and that will contain much more information about who you can expect to be there. If CCI follows their usual schedule, that means we should be getting the programming schedule on Friday, March 27 (or Friday, March 20 if they follow last year’s example!).
