Comic-Con International released the full programming schedule for WonderCon Anaheim 2014 on April 2! Now that we’ve had some time to go through it, we bring you the highlights!
WonderCon starts on Friday, April 18 and runs through Sunday, April 20. Yes, that is Easter Weekend, just like last year. You can access the full schedule here, where you can organize by date, category, venue, and popularity. Below are some of the highlights from this year’s schedule. Remember, just like San Diego Comic-Con, rooms are not cleared in between panels, so you might want to arrive a little early to be sure you make it into your desired panel.

Limited Autograph Signings for Revolution and Salem, WonderCon Anaheim Booth #585

The world premiere of the Spooked trailer will be screened, and cast and crew of the new show will be at the panel, including Julian Curtis, Ashley Johnson, Derek Mio, and Shyloh Oostwald. Considering that the Geek & Sundry panel was one of the few (possibly only) panels that people were unable to get into at WonderCon last year because it was too full, you should probably get in line a little early for this one!
Saturday, April 19
10:00am – 10:30am
Limited Autograph Signings for Bob’s Burgers, Once Upon a Time, and The 100, WonderCon Anaheim Booth #585
There will be special limited autograph signings with stars from the above TV shows. 11:00am – 12:00pm
Falling Skies Season 4, Room 300AB
The schedule doesn’t specify who will be on the panel, but a TNT press release states that Moon Bloodgood, Sarah Carter, Seychelle Gabriel, Doug Jones, and executive producer/director Greg Beeman will be there. Panelists will talk about the upcoming Season 4 premiere, and fans will get to see exclusive footage from the upcoming season.
11:00am – 12:30pm
Warner Bros. Presentation, Arena
Warner Bros. has apparently opted to keep it a secret as to what its panel will consist of. All we know is that “movies” and “television” are tagged in the description. At first we thought Arrow might be the television part of the panel, considering that the showrunners are on another panel later in the day, but if that is so, then it will have to be without the star of the show, Stephen Amell, who will be at FanExpo Vancouver that weekend. Another possibility is The Big Bang Theory, since its showrunner and one of its writers will also be on two different panels later that day. As for movies, we think Godzilla is a definite possibility, with its May 16 release date. Other possibilities include Edge of Tomorrow, which comes out on June 6, and Jupiter Ascending, which has a July 18 release date. Both of those are before San Diego Comic-Con, so they would want to get some promotion in now. We think it goes without saying, but get there early for this one!
[4/14/14 UPDATE] Warner Bros. Pictures announced today via its Twitter account (@wbpictures) that this panel will feature Godzilla, Edge of Tomorrow, and Into the Storm. So we got 2 out of 3. Not bad.
12:00pm – 1:00pm
The 100 Special Video Presentation and Q&A, Room 300AB
The schedule does not mention which of the cast and crew will be there to discuss the show. As this is a Warner Bros. property, we can safely assume that this will not be featured in its Arena presentation since it has its own panel.
12:45pm – 2:45pm
Twentieth Century Fox Presentation, Arena
Like the Warner Bros. Presentation description, the description for this panel is blank as well. However, according to a press release, the panel will feature X-Men: Days of Future Past, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, How to Train Your Dragon 2, and The Maze Runner. Only director Bryan Singer is listed for X-Men: Days of Future Past, but there’s always the chance for surprise guest appearances. Director Matt Reeves and actors Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, and Gary Oldman will be there for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, while writer/director Dean DeBlois and actor Jay Baruchel will be in attendance for How to Train Your Dragon 2, and writer James Dashner, director Wes Bell, and lead actor Dylan O’Brien round out The Maze Runner panel. If you want to get into this panel, you probably should get in line early before the Warner Bros. panel.
1:00pm – 2:00pm
Once Upon a Time, Room 300AB
Fans will get an exclusive screening of an upcoming episode of the show. Following the screening, stars Josh Dallas and Rebecca Mader, co-creators and executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, and other surprise guests will reveal secrets. All attendees will receive a limited edition WonderCon Anaheim giveaway.
2:30pm – 3:30pm
Legends, Room 300DE
Attendees will get a sneak peek at TNT’s new drama based on the book by spy novelist Robert Littell. According to a TNT press release, the panel will consist of stars Sean Bean, Ali Larter, Morris Chestnut, Tina Majorino, and executive producer/showrunner David Wilcox. Hopefully Sean Bean’s character won’t die this time.
3:00pm – 3:30pm
Lucy, Arena
Writer/director Luc Besson will present exclusive scenes from his upcoming movie staring Scarlett Johansson and Morgan Freeman. We’re hoping for an appearance by one or both of the stars, but we’re not holding our breaths.
3:30pm – 4:30pm
The Last Ship Screening and Q&A, Room 300DE
Attendees will get an advance screening of TNT’s new drama The Last Ship, executive-produced by Michael Bay, set to debut this summer, where a Navy ship avoids falling victim to a global catastrophe that wipes out most of the world’s population. According to a TNT press release, stars Adam Baldwin and Adam Van Winkle will be on the panel, along with showrunners Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane.
3:45pm – 4:45pm
Sony Pictures: Deliver Us from Evil, Arena
Attendees will get an exclusive first look at the supernatural thriller about a police officer who investigates inexplicable crimes and teams up with a priest for exorcisms. Director Scott Derrickson, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and stars Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, Olivia Munn, and Joel McHale will be there to answer questions.
4:00pm – 5:00pm
Batman 75th Anniversary, Room 300AB
The WonderCon program schedule doesn’t say who will be at this panel, but thanks to a recent press release, we now know who the panelists will be. The panel will also feature the premiere of an animated short from Darwyn Cooke, inspired by the Batman Beyond series.
4:30pm – 5:30pm

Miller (the new Terminator TV series, Fringe, Thor), Steve Melching (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Transformers: Prime), Sarah Watson (About a Boy, Parenthood), Jose Molina (Sleepy Hollow, Firefly, Terra Nova), and Mark A. Altman (Femme Fatales, Castle, Necessary Roughness).

The Nerdist Panel, Arena
Chris Hardwick will talk about the big things to come for Nerdist in the near future. If this panel is anything like last year’s, the audience will have plenty of time for quemments!
12:30pm – 1:30pm
Disney’s Master Teachers: Life Drawing for Animation, Room 300DE
Another panel for the hardcore Disney fans! Moderated by Susan Karlin, Disney’s current master teachers Karl Gnass, Mark McDonnell, and Bob Kato will talk about their approach to drawing, and inform you of classes they run for civilians, and Disney visual development artist Dan Cooper will weigh in on how their classes have improved his animation skills.
1:00pm – 2:00pm
GEEK Guide to Summer Movies, Room 300AB

This is your exclusive chance to hear all there is to tell about the upcoming arcs of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Serenity from the creative teams themselves! The panel includes Buffy Season 10 writer Christos Gage, Serenity writer Zack Whedon, artist Georges Jeanty, and maybe a few surprise guests.
2:00pm – 3:00pm

Chloe Dykstra (SyFy’s Heroes of Cosplay) and Johnny Wickham (JustCos, Cosplay Confidential) find out how some of the best cosplayers around the world create their looks, exploring fabrication, design, and character.
2:30pm – 3:30pm
The Future of Battlestar Galactica, Room 300DE
Richard Hatch (Tom Zarek, Capt. Apollo) hosts a discussion and Q&A about the future of Battlestar Galactica that includes Dr. Kevin Grazier (Battlestar Galactica‘s science consultant), surprise guests, and the premiere of the new Battlestar Galactica documentary sizzle reel. This should be interesting, considering the recent news that Transcendance writer Jack Paglen has signed on to write the screenplay of a movie version of Battlestar Galactica. As for “surprise guests,” we’re thinking that Kate Vernon, who played Ellen Tigh, and Kandyse McClure, who played Dualla, both on the most recent version of the show, and Herbert Jefferson Jr., who played Lt. Boomer on the original series, are those surprise guests, since they are all listed as Autograph Area participants.
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, Arena
Just like San Diego Comic-Con, WonderCon likes to close out the convention with a screening of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog!
Again, these are only a few of the highlights from the WonderCon Anaheim 2014 schedule, and is very movie and TV heavy. Click here to check out the entire programming schedule for WonderCon, which consists of many comic book panels, anime, games, the Comic Arts Conference, and much much more!
